Prepaid Debit Card

This magnetic-stripe, chip-enabled prepaid debit card operates on a secure, flexible platform enabled by Money Network. Your agency can:

  • Enroll cardholders online
  • Add money online for real-time funding
  • Load one single card or many cards simultaneously
  • Reload the card(s) if you need to issue several payments to the payee
  • Instantly issue cards for immediate distribution
  • Maintain and update cardholder information or card status instantly

A prepaid Debit Card will allow recipients to:

  • Access funds at hundreds of thousands of ATMs, including about 72,500 surcharge-free ATMs
  • Select a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to protect against theft

Digital Pay

The U.S. Debit Card program also offers an alternative federal disbursement delivery method – Digital Pay. This method replaces paper or card payments, allowing recipients to get funds through a digital account.

After choosing Digital Pay as their delivery method, recipients will:

  • Get an email notification of payment
  • Be prompted to build an online profile
  • Select a receipt method:
    • U.S. Debit virtual card
    • Direct-to-debit
    • ACH
    • PayPal
    • Venmo

Digital Pay will allow recipients to:

  • Get real-time payouts immediately
  • Choose from a variety of digital payout options
  • Split payouts across two or more accounts
  • Count on security features like secondary authentication
